Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Do I need a diagnosis?

Not necessarily. What matters is how your health affects your ability to manage your home.

For mental health needs, our licensed clinician can assess certain conditions. For medical conditions and disabilities, we can work from documentation provided by your doctor or another healthcare provider.

We can also work with your care team to put recommendations into practice and help make your home safer and easier to manage.

What conditions do you support?

We commonly work with people whose health affects daily functioning or home safety, including:

Mental healthADHD · OCD · PTSD · Anxiety · Depression · Adjustment disorders · Prolonged grief · Bipolar disorder · Hoarding disorder
Disability, cognitive & developmentalAutism · Intellectual and developmental disabilities · Dementia
Medical & physicalMobility-related conditions · Neurological conditions · Other medical conditions affecting daily functioning or home safety

Every situation is different. Eligibility depends on how your health affects daily life or home safety. Our licensed clinician can assess certain mental health conditions, and we can work from provider documentation for other health needs and disabilities.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

You may be able to, when organizing supports a health need. Most plans ask for a letter of medical necessity.

If your need is related to mental health, our licensed clinician may be able to provide that letter. For medical conditions and disabilities, the letter can come from your doctor or another healthcare provider.

Check with your plan, then pay with your HSA or FSA card or submit your receipts, depending on how your plan works. Not sure what your plan needs? Contact us and we can help you figure it out. Eligibility depends on your plan, and we can't guarantee coverage.

Will my health insurance cover this?

We don't bill commercial health insurance for our self-pay services. If you have Colorado Medicaid, you may qualify for separate services at no cost. HSA or FSA funds may also be an option with a letter of medical necessity, depending on your plan.

I have Medicaid. Can I pay out of pocket?

Medicaid members can't pay out of pocket for services covered by Medicaid. You may qualify for our separate no-cost organizing services instead. See no-cost options →

What areas do you serve?

We serve Colorado Springs and surrounding areas in El Paso County, including:

Colorado Springs · Monument · Black Forest · Peyton · Falcon · Manitou Springs · Fountain

Not sure if you're in our service area? Contact us and we'll confirm.

Can someone else pay for my sessions?

Yes. A family member, friend, or other loved one can pay for your sessions. You remain in control of your goals and the decisions made in your home.

Do you do junk removal, cleaning, or cleanouts?

Our specialty is hands-on organizing: helping you make decisions, set up systems that fit your life, and build skills that last.

We don't provide junk removal, deep cleaning, heavy cleanouts, or biohazard cleanup.

When those services are needed, we can coordinate with trusted partners so their work fits into your organizing plan.

Do you help with hoarding?

Yes. We work with people experiencing hoarding challenges, including hoarding disorder. We move at your pace, respect your decisions, and never judge.

We're also developing a specialized program for people who need more comprehensive support with hoarding. Let us know you're interested → and we'll reach out when it's available.
