About Us

Impactful Organizing is a Colorado Springs nonprofit and approved Colorado Medicaid provider. We help neighbors with limited resources organize their homes through two paths: Medicaid-covered organizing sessions, and our donation-funded Community Access Program for neighbors without Medicaid coverage.

The Impactful Organizing team

Two ways we serve Colorado Springs

Medicaid

Medicaid-covered organizing

As an approved Colorado Medicaid provider, we're building out organizing sessions covered by Health First Colorado for qualifying members, at no cost to the client.

Community Access Program

Donation-funded support

Neighbors without Medicaid coverage are served through our Community Access Program, funded entirely by community donations and grants, at no cost to the client.

We believe everyone deserves a home that gives them peace.

A space that decreases stress, restores dignity, and supports a safe, independent life.

Our mission is to help people with limited resources build the home management skills and systems needed to get there, through hands-on organizing sessions covered by Medicaid or funded by community donations through our Community Access Program.

Partner Testimonials

We work alongside trusted social service agencies who refer neighbors in greatest need, from survivors rebuilding after trauma to elderly individuals striving to live independently. Here's what some of our partners have to say about working with Impactful Organizing.

Meet the Team

Meghan Jackson

Meghan Jackson, Director & Founder

Meghan is a social worker, professional organizer and has a deep passion for helping people create peaceful spaces that support well-being.

After the growing success of her professional organizing business, and inspired by her experience as a foster parent, Meghan recognized a critical gap in the community: many families lacked access to this kind of in-home support.

This realization led her to found Impactful Organizing, combining her professional expertise and personal insight to serve Colorado Springs in a unique way.

Alex Maestas

Alex Maestas, Program & Operations Coordinator

Alex brings creativity and compassion to his organizing work, drawing from his background in interior design and community engagement.

Alex joined Impactful Organizing as a board member in 2023, and we're grateful for his ongoing dedication to supporting our mission and programs.

A foster parent and proud Colorado native, Alex is deeply committed to serving his community and building meaningful connections. He plays an active role in shaping program offerings and community connections so that Impactful Organizing can serve more people with dignity and care.
