Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect through impactfulorganizing.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Impactful Organizing is a trade name of Sponsor A Space, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (“Impactful Organizing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide in-home organizing sessions and daily living skills training for people whose health, disability, or life circumstances make home harder to manage.
What this policy covers
This policy covers visitors to our website and the information you send us through our website, forms, quiz, newsletter signup, and donation form, and by text or email in reply to them.
If you become a client, the information we keep about your services is also protected under our Notice of Privacy Practices. See Health information and HIPAA below.
Information you give us
We collect what you choose to share with us. Depending on the form, that can include:
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address.
- Your preferences: how you'd like us to reach you, how you heard about us, and whether you agree to receive texts or emails from us.
- Your messages: anything you type into a message box. This may include health, disability, or household details you decide to share.
- Medicaid status: whether you told us you have Colorado Medicaid, don't, or aren't sure.
- Self-pay rate requests: your contact details and contact preference when you ask for our self-pay rates.
- Health Support Quiz answers: who the help is for, your area, your Medicaid status, the help you need, how health affects your home, the home picture you choose, whether you want updates, and your timing. If you ask us to follow up, we also collect your contact details, whether you agree to texts and emails, and the link or flyer that brought you to the quiz.
- Community Access Program referrals: when a partner agency refers someone, the referring staff member's name, agency, phone, and email, and the applicant's name, contact details, address, home situation, household members, goals, and consent.
- Newsletter signups: your name and email address.
- Donations: details about your gift. See Donations below.
Please share only what you're comfortable sending. You don't need to include detailed medical information in a website form. We'll ask what we need when we talk with you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our tools may collect basic technical information, such as your device and browser type, the pages you visit, how you scroll and click, and a general location based on your IP address. See Cookies and similar tools to learn more.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to your request and answer your questions.
- Check whether you may qualify for No-Cost Help, or share our self-pay rates.
- Review referrals, schedule sessions, send reminders, and provide our services.
- Send receipts, thank-you notes, and updates to donors and newsletter subscribers.
- Keep our website working, secure, and free of spam, and understand how people use it so we can make it better.
- Keep records and meet our legal, Medicaid, and nonprofit requirements.
Text messages and email
When you submit a form, you may agree to receive text messages and emails from Impactful Organizing (Sponsor A Space). On some forms this agreement is required to send your request, because texting and email are how we follow up. On other forms it's optional. If you'd rather not get texts, you can call us at 719-445-9898 or email [email protected] instead.
Agreeing to texts isn't required to receive our services. You can always call or email us instead. Our texts are about your request, scheduling, appointment reminders, and next steps.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help.
- If you opt out of texts, we'll reach you by phone or email instead.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We never share or sell your text message opt-in data or consent with anyone. If you ask us to coordinate a service for you, we may share your phone number with that service partner only so they can reach you about the job. See How we share information. All other data sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or contact us.
Self-pay payments
Self-pay clients pay through Jane, our client scheduling and records system, or through our website and client management platform, FGFunnels. Your card details are entered into those systems and handled by their payment processors. We don't keep card numbers in our own files. If you choose to keep a card on file for future payments, it's stored by those systems and their payment processors.
If your HSA or FSA plan asks for a letter of medical necessity, it may be written by our team or by an outside provider for you to submit. Any letter or HSA or FSA paperwork we write or receive is kept with your client record and protected as described below.
Donations
Online donations are processed by Givebutter under its own privacy policy. Givebutter and its payment processors handle your payment details, and we don't receive your full card number. Givebutter's donation form may use its own analytics, fraud prevention, and advertising tools.
From Givebutter, we receive information such as your name, email address, the amount and date of your gift, and anything you choose to add, like a note. We use it to send receipts and thank-you notes, keep our donation records, and share updates about our work. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time.
Our Givebutter campaign page has a public supporter feed. Your name and any public message you leave may appear there, unless you choose to give anonymously.
If you buy something from our Amazon wish list, Amazon handles your order under its own privacy policy.
Health information and HIPAA
We provide services covered by Colorado Medicaid, and we treat information about the people we serve as protected. When you become a client, the information we keep about your care is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, as required by HIPAA. That notice explains how we use and protect your health information and your rights. Clients receive it when they start services, and anyone can ask us for a copy.
This website policy covers website visitors and form submissions. If information you send through our website becomes part of your client record, we protect it under our Notice of Privacy Practices.
How we share information
We never sell or rent your information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our website, forms, messages, payments, and records, only as needed to do that work for us. See the list below.
- With service partners, with your permission. If you ask us to set up a service for you, such as junk hauling, donation pickup, or other services we coordinate, we share only what that partner needs to do the job, usually your name, phone number, and address. We don't share your health details unless you agree.
- With your permission, or as described when you share the information.
- When required by law, or to protect someone's safety.
If our Health Support Quiz suggests everyday organizing, you'll see a form from Joyful Spaces Professional Organizing, a separate for-profit company. Anything you type into that form goes straight to Joyful Spaces under its own privacy policy. Impactful Organizing doesn't receive it.

How long we keep information
We keep information as long as we need it for the reason you shared it, and as long as Medicaid rules, tax rules, or other laws require. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove details that identify you.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who on our team can see it. No website, app, or way of sending information is completely secure, so please think about what you send by text or email.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP at any time.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email from us.
- Your information: you can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Contact us at [email protected] or 719-445-9898. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Some records we must keep, even if you ask us to delete them, such as client records required by Medicaid or the law, and donation records. If you're a client, our Notice of Privacy Practices explains your rights to your health information.
Age and information about others
You must be at least 18 years old to use our website, submit a form, or sign up for texts from us. We don't knowingly collect information from children through our website. If you think a child has sent us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent version. See our Terms of Service → for the rules for using our website.
