Common questions
Does Medicaid really cover home organizing?
Some Colorado Medicaid members may qualify for in-home organizing and skills training at no cost when a mental or behavioral health need makes managing home harder.
We're currently waitlisting Medicaid members while we complete network enrollment. Eligibility depends on your coverage and individual needs. Reach out and we'll help you understand your options.
How do I know if I qualify?
Fill out our short form, or call or text us. We'll review your information, help check your Medicaid coverage or agency referral, and talk through what's happening at home.
There's no cost to check, and reaching out doesn't commit you to services.
We respect your privacy. Your information is kept confidential.
I'm not sure if I have Medicaid.
That's okay. Colorado Medicaid is also called Health First Colorado. If you're not sure whether you have coverage, reach out and we'll help you figure it out.
Do I need a diagnosis?
No. You don't need a diagnosis before reaching out. For Medicaid-covered services, we'll talk with you about how your mental or behavioral health affects life at home. Our licensed clinician can complete an assessment to help determine whether our services are a fit.
What is the Community Access Program?
Our Community Access Program provides no-cost organizing for people who aren't on Medicaid and are referred by one of our partner agencies. Funding comes from grants and donations, so availability is limited.
If you work with a caseworker or social services agency, ask whether they partner with us. See our partner agencies ↓
Can my care coordinator or caseworker refer me?
Yes. Care coordinators, case managers, and healthcare providers can refer Colorado Medicaid members. For the Community Access Program, a referral from a participating partner agency is required.
What does a typical session look like?
Most organizing sessions last 2 to 3 hours in your home. We set goals together, work alongside you to organize your space, and build practical systems at a pace that feels comfortable to you.
Do I have to get rid of things I want to keep?
Never. We won't remove anything without your permission. Our goal is to help you make space for what matters to you and decide what works best for your home, on your terms.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Colorado Springs and surrounding areas in El Paso County, including Monument, Black Forest, Peyton, Falcon, Manitou Springs, and Fountain.
Not sure if you're in our service area? Contact us and we'll confirm.
Do you provide cleaning or junk removal?
Our focus is hands-on organizing, not deep cleaning, junk removal, or heavy cleanouts. When additional services are needed, we can help coordinate with other providers so their work fits into your organizing plan.
Cleaning, hauling, and disposal services are not included in our services and are generally the client's responsibility. Limited financial assistance may be available in some cases, depending on funding.
Do you help with hoarding?
Yes. We work with people experiencing hoarding challenges, including hoarding disorder. We respect your decisions, work at your pace, and never judge.
Our goal is to help you create a home that better supports your health, safety, and quality of life. We don't require you to part with belongings without your permission.
We'll point you in the right direction.
