Well-being workshops for local agencies

May 27, 2025•2 min read

Home organization isn't about picture-perfect spaces.

It's about a home that makes life easier, calmer, and more functional. A space that fits you, your needs, and your preferences.

We can't help everyone one on one. So we created workshops to help more people discover the power of organizing, even if they're just starting out.

First workshop: Habitat for Humanity

We kicked off with a group of future homeowners through Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity. They were getting ready to move into their new homes, and our goal was simple: offer realistic, helpful tools to set them up for success from day one.

The excitement snowballed!

Second workshop: Family Life Services

That energy inspired us to share the workshop with Family Life Services, an incredible Colorado Springs nonprofit that supports single moms and their children as they build stable, thriving lives.

It's beautiful to watch a conversation about organizing turn into one about confidence, comfort, and control over your own well-being.

It starts with a quiz

Each workshop starts with the short Clutter Score Quiz. It helps people reflect on how clutter might affect their lives: mentally, emotionally, financially, or just in how the day flows. Everyone is different, and the quiz is a gentle, judgment-free way to start talking about space.

Organizing isn't one size fits all

You won't find rigid rules or cookie-cutter solutions here. This is a judgment-free zone, always. You will find encouragement, empathy, and practical steps you can actually use.

  • How clutter affects stress, time, money, and relationships

  • What your organizing style says about your needs

  • Three steps to tackle any space: sort, store, and systematize

Real stories, real success

One client found success not by getting rid of more, but by changing how she stored things. With labeled bins and clear shelves, her pantry now works for her instead of against her. Read her story →

The right tools and the right support

Getting organized doesn't mean doing it all alone or having a color-coded closet. Sometimes it just means the right shelf, the right bin, and the right support.

Thanks to generous community donations, Impactful Organizing provides trauma-informed, professional organizing sessions at no cost to individuals and families referred by our partner agencies. Workshops help us reach even more neighbors.
