Garage shelves with labeled clear storage bins

Our launch and first-year goals

October 05, 2022•2 min read

First shared in October 2022, as we launched.

As we began this community-led mission in Colorado Springs, we committed to being open about our goals. We want to give neighbors a way to help each other with something that's often too private to ask for: emotional clutter that holds back lives.

Why our community needs this

Most of us want to help neighbors who are struggling with clutter, but it's hard to know how. For some, the burden is very emotional or very large.

Impactful Organizing lets community givers make a lasting impact by providing compassionate, professional organizing sessions to neighbors in the greatest need.

We partner with local social service agencies to identify those neighbors and plan each project. Then givers like you make the sessions possible.

Our vision

Everyone deserves a space that gives them peace: a place that lowers stress, restores dignity, and supports a productive daily life.

For some neighbors, life is held back by a space heavy with emotional clutter, and they see no way forward. As professional organizers, we can help them get past these roadblocks and live a healthier, more productive life.

Our mission

Impactful Organizing provides compassionate organizing sessions that deliver practical, lasting relief to people with limited financial resources who are overwhelmed by clutter.

We partner with social services agencies to identify neighbors in need, then pair them with community givers who make their sessions possible.

Our first-year goals

  • 10 to 12 community-funded organizing sessions in the first 12 months.

  • 75% of clients keep up their space at the 30-day check-in.

  • Clients report more dignity, peace, and productivity.

  • Clients report better overall well-being and life management.
